Sometimes I listen to books on tape when i'm going to sleep. A while ago, I was staying at my mom's house for family get together time. That night, I fell asleep on my cot in the living room listening to some semi-trashy sci-fi novel by Richard K Morgan on my iPad.
Anyway the next day i grabbed my headphones and plugged them into my phone to listen to some music or whatever. I was milling about my mom's apartment when I suddenly heard talking...but it wasn't just talking. No, it was unmistakably narration. My 1 year old nephew had started playing with my ipad and had somehow hit "resume" on the book. Where did it end up stopping? Why on some raunchy sci-fi sex scene of course! Pharamones! Drugs! Cunnilingus! Virtual Reality! Cumming on faces! it was all there.
It's weird enough reading that shit, but having it narrated by an old dude to your 1 year old nephew is believe me, like a thousand times worse. My mom and my sister were both present of course and they looked at me like "WTF? Any doubts about your black sheepness have henceforth been confirmed."
Awkward.

That's a whole new level of awkward.
I've not too had awkward moments of that degree, but once I was on the bus and decided to grab the pole. I end touching some girl's breasts. The look on my face was priceless.
